Daniel F. Froman of Gallatin has made a public response through his attorney, David Bell of Wyrsch Hobbs & Mirakian P.C., Kansas City, to felony charges filed against him over the past weekend. Froman denies the recent charges.

A celebration of the life of Inez Riddell was held Aug. 17, at Poland-Thompson Chapel, Cameron. Burial was at Cameron Memory Gardens. The family request that donations be made to the Cameron United Methodist Church. Arrangements were by Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron.

Lacey Dixon, a 2008 Gallatin High School graduate, received First Team All-National Junior College Athletics Association Region 6/District E and Second Team All-East Jayhawk Conference honors in her freshmen season with the Johnson County Community College women’s softball team.
