Funeral Services for Earl Combs were held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany. Burial with Military Rites was in Fairview Cemetery, Bethany. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 today at the funeral home, where friends may call after 5 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to Fairview Cemetery, Blue Ridge Christian Union Church and/or The Tree House in care of the Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, Mo. 64424.

Elementary students make it A December to Remember….

Searcy Elementary presented A December to Remember on Monday, Dec. 18, in the new elementary gym. The recital was directed by Sheryl Warren and featured the following songs: Preschool, directed by Julie Critten — I’m a Little Green Tree, Where is Santa?, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas; Kindergarten and First Grade — Nice, Nice Christmas; Kindergarten — Decorate the Tree, Up on the Housetop, Polar Puppy; First Grade — Holiday Rock, North Pole, North Pole; Second and Third Grade — December to Remember, Favorite Things, Rock Around the Jingle Bells, Believe, Don’t Wait, What’s the Hurry.

Gallatin FFA chapter attended National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, IN, this fall.
