The Covel D. Searcy Elementary School held the H.O.P.E. Food Drive (Helping Other People Eat) on Nov. 13-17.
The students and staff collected 495 cans of food. All of the food was donated to the Green Hills Community Action Agency. Mrs. Cross’ Kindergarten students and Mrs. Bonderer’s Third Grade students sponsored the event. They appreciate everyone who contributed. This is the fourth year for the food drive.
