Gallatin R-5 wrestlers, basketball players and cheerleaders were under the spotlight Friday night as athletes, coaches, parents and supporters met in the R-5 gym for the 2005-06 Winter Sports Banquet.

Thelma Chiarottino of Issaquah, formerly St. Joseph, died Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at the age of 95.

Graveside services for Danielle Sorrells was held Tuesday at Edgewood Cemetery in Chillicothe. Arrangement were by Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe. Burial was at Edgewood Cemetery. Danielle Nicole Sorrells, 13, Chillicothe, died Friday, March 24, 2006 after a long battle with Leukemia.

A service celebrating Ann Holley’s life was held Tuesday, in the Gano Chapel on the William Jewell College Campus. Arrangements were by Park Lawn Northland Chapel. Ann Lee (Pearl) Holley, 53, Liberty, died Friday at Liberty Hospital.

Mary Virginia Payne, 90, Springdale, formerly Jamesport, died Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at a Springdale health-care center.
