The Daviess County Health Department has announced the 2021 recipients of its $1,000 scholarship. This year it has been awarded to Caragan Baker, 2021 graduate of Gallatin R-5 who plans to pursue a degree in dermatology; Trystn Dunks, 2021 graduate of Tri-County R-7 who plans to pursue a degree in nursing; and Maelea Coulson, a full-time nursing student at Missouri Western University. This $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing a career in any health care related field, enrolled or accepted as a full-time student, resident of Daviess County, and successfully graduating high school with a minimum 3.0 GPA. The health department offers congratulations to Caragan, Trystn, and Maelea.
