A four-year-old Hamilton boy fell from the bed of a pickup on May 1 and was then struck by a trailer which was behind the truck. The truck was traveling southbound on private property on State Route CC near Hamilton.

The boy was seriously injured and was taken by Daviess County Ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
The driver was Shawn Schuyler, 29, of Hamilton. Neither occupant was secured with a safety device.
