According to the probable cause statement, one of the subjects at the party showed Deputy Dalton Youtsey a Snapchat social media group which included several underage people, as well as Shaun Yoder of Jamesport, who is a known sex offender. The group was called “badass boys.”

On April 20, Mr. Yoder, 31, was interviewed at the sheriff’s office and admitted that he had had the Snapchat account for about a month. He admitted that he knew he was supposed to report the account to the sheriff’s office and failed to do so.

Mr. Yoder has convictions in Daviess County for felony deviate sexual assault in 2010, felony sexual assault in 2010 and felony failure to register as sex offender in 2020. Yoder was arrested and taken to Daviess DeKalb County Regional Jail for failure to register as sex offender second offense. Bond was denied.
