John and Betty Tarwater will celebrate their 65^th wedding anniversary on March 8.

The Tarwaters were married in 1956 in Gallatin. Together they have a blended family that includes three children: Tara (Alan), Tairent and Barry Wane; five grandchildren: Coresa, Amy (David), Teresa (Matt), Tina (David), and Scott (Kim); 13 great grandchildren, and seven great great-grandchildren.
