After being pulled over on I-35 southbound for speeding and multiple lane violations, a Kansas woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance on Feb. 24.

Officer Tpr. N. Regan reports in the probable cause statement that he pulled over driver Sara Savage, 40, for speeding and several lane violations. Savage had an expired insurance card and failed to a series of sobriety tests. Upon searching the vehicle, 36 and-a-half green pills were discovered and later identified as Clonazepam.
Savage was arrested and charged with exceeding posted speed limit, C misdemeanor; failure to drive on right half of the roadway when roadway was of sufficient width, C misdemeanor; owner operating a motor vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility, misdemeanor; DWI, B misdemeanor; and possession of a controlled substance, felony. She was taken to the Daviess/DeKalb Regional Jail on a 24-hour hold.
