RaCail King goes from being a Public Health Nurse to being the Health Department Administrator.
The Daviess County Health Department Public Health Nurse, RaCail King, is transitioning to be the new health department administrator.
King was raised in Jamesport, where she still resides with her husband, Cody King, and their three children. She earned an associate degree in nursing from North Central Missouri College in Trenton and is currently working towards her bachelor’s degree at Northwest Missouri State University.
After receiving her associate degree in nursing, she tackled the public health nurse position at the Daviess County Health Department. She has been trained in school nursing, childcare health, WIC, immunizations, vaccine management, disease case management, emergency preparedness, and more in the three years she has served the health department.
“I am eager to learn this new role as administrator and expand my knowledge in public health while serving my community,” said King. “I look forward to working with other community leaders and members to prevent, promote, and protect the residents of Daviess County.”
Thank you, Mrs. King, for continuing to serve the Daviess County community.
