Lawrence “Larry” J. Gregory 87, Polo, died on Feb. 15.
Larry was born on Jan. 14, 1934 in Altamont.
On Jan. 14, 1967, he married Linda Murray. She survives of the home.
Larry served as the mayor of Polo for several years and was on the board of directors for the Caldwell County Ambulance Board for over 25 years.
Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Gregory.
Additional survivors include daughter, Deb (Rob) Grigsby; brother, Billy (Beverly) Gregory;
3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Feb. 27, at the Stith Family Funeral Home in Polo with private funeral services to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Caldwell County Cancer Coalition in care of the funeral home. Burial: Zimmerman Cemetery, Polo. Arrangements entrusted to the Stith Family Funeral Home.
