David Brown was recognized Saturday prior to Gallatin’s championship game against North Andrew for his 40 years of service as both a softball umpire and basketball official for Gallatin R-5 athletic programs and schools across Northwest Missouri.

Saturday represented the last varsity contest David worked at GHS. Joining David for the pre-game ceremony was his wife, Annette, along with his kids and grandkids, Stephen, Ashley, Lukas, Callen, Craig, Heather, Aidan, Maddox, and Everett.
