Charles was born April 20, 1958, to Charles James and Murvle Loetta (Parish) Trotter in Houston, TX.
Charles served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Bailey and Paula Monien; brother, Tom Trotter; and a nephew.
Survivors include daughters, Sara (Jason) Thomson and Jessica Kelley, both of Gallatin; four grandchildren; brother, Bob Hewitt; sister, LaDonna Trotter of Gallatin; one nephew; two nieces; and two great nephews.
Cremation entrusted to the care and direction of Stith Funeral Home, Gallatin.
