On Nov. 20, Daviess County Deputy Dalton Youtsey was advised of an intoxicated driver northbound on I-35 in Daviess County. The deputy located the vehicle, a red truck with a camper shell pulling a trailer, near the 80 mile marker. The trailer had no license plate and the vehicle was weaving over into the passing lane. The driver was Donald Josling, 56, Gladstone.

During the traffic stop, the deputy conducted field sobriety tests and a preliminary breath test on Josling. A computer check revealed five DWI convictions dating back as far as 1989, one in Oregon and four in Kansas, and a revoked driver’s license in Kansas. Josling was taken to Daviess DeKalb County Regional Jail (DDCRJ).

Josling has been charged with DWI habitual, failure to register vehicle, failure to drive in right lane of highway, and no valid license. Bond was denied.
