Roslyn Heights Mansion is the state headquarters for the Daughters of the American Revolution and the lighting of the Lights of Love Tree, honoring this country’s military men and women, veterans and local heroes, will be held Saturday, Dec. 5, at 5 p.m. The lighting will take place on the front lawn of the historic home, located at 821 Main Street, Boonville.
A reception, preceding the lighting from 4-5 p.m. on Dec. 5, will allow Missouri DAR to present “Missouri Patriot Paws for Our Heroes.” Donated funds will help defray the cost of training service dogs. The public is cordially invited to attend this beautiful ceremony and reception at no cost.
Visit beautiful Roslyn Heights Dec. 5-12 and enjoy the grandeur and elegance of the “last of the Main Street mansions” decorated for Christmas. This year’s open house features a tour of the gorgeous mansion, decorated for the Christmas season to display her beautiful woodwork furnishing and 22 decorated trees.
Tours will be given from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 5-12. Tours on Sunday, Dec. 6, will be given from 1-4 p.m. Tours are $10 per person.
