A Cameron woman received minor injuries in an accident that happened at 6:25 a.m. on Oct. 15 in Daviess County.

According to the highway patrol, the wreck happened as Gordon McCune, 59, Hallsville, and Angela Williams, 67, Cameron, were both eastbound on Hwy. 6.
McCune was in a 1987 FRHT dump truck. About a half mile east of Gallatin, he stopped on Hwy. 6, waiting for traffic to clear to make a left turn onto 239th Street. His truck was struck in the rear by Williams, who was driving a 2008 Hyundai. Williams was ‘checked out’ by the Daviess County Ambulance, according to the report.
The dump truck had minor damage. The Hyundai was totaled.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. M.S. Cline and assisted by the Gallatin Police Department.
