Toni Yarbrough, 26, and Amber N. Gann, 27, both of Galt, have each been charged with domestic assault first degree, B felony, after they assaulted their mother at a wedding which took place at the Spillman Event Center in Jamesport. The attack occurred around 6 p.m. on Aug. 8. Both were intoxicated at the time of the assault.
According to the probable cause statement prepared by Daviess County Deputy Loreanna Parker, the sisters threw their mother to the ground, and kicked and punched her, causing multiple facial fractures and a broken nose. Bystanders had to physically restrain Gann to stop her from attacking the victim.
Yarbrough and Gann were charged with assault on Aug. 11 and Aug. 12 respectively. Bond has been denied.
