A McFall juvenile receive minor injuries in an accident that happened at about 8:45 p.m. on July 7 in Harrison County.
According to the highway patrol, the seven-year-old, who was not identified in the report, was driving a 2006 Arctic CAT ATV westbound on Harrison County Road 382. About six miles southwest of Bethany, he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The vehicle went off of the west side of the roadway and struck a fence. The ATV came to rest on its wheels off of the west side of the roadway.
The boy was taken by private vehicle to Harrison County Community Hospital. He was wearing a safety device.
The ATV was not damaged.
The accident was investigated by Cpl. B.R. Hilliard.
