1 cup butter (do not soften)
1-½ cup granulated sugar
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
2 tspns. vanilla
4 eggs
1 pie shell

Melt and then cool chocolate. Cream butter, gradually adding sugar until light and fluffy. Next blend in the chocolate and vanilla. Add eggs one at a time. Pour in pie shell and chill in refrigerator before serving.

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July. I know this year was very different from other past 4th of July celebrations. I can remember going to Dockery Park and watching the fireworks there, but not too many large displays this year. During this weekend, I went to my friend Karen’s house.
