The Gallatin R-V Board of Education voted to have no increase in meal prices for next school year during their meeting held June 18.
Personnel items on the agenda included resignations accepted from Allie Dolan, fourth grade teacher, and Kelly Lee, high school science teacher.
Josie Williamson was offered the middle school ELA/social studies teacher position, and
Tricia Sprague was offered the elementary physical education position.
Coaching positions were offered for next school year to Wyatt Bird, assistant football; Corby Ford, assistant junior high; and Barron Gann, head wrestling.

Financial matters occupied much of the discussion of the R-V board. Superintendent Dr. Bryan Copple presented the 2020-2021 Budget, which the board approved.
End of the year expenditures were finalized. The teacher’s fund, transportation fund, and the following student accounts were zeroed: athletics, football, golf, softball, and wrestling.

The board approved the greater of $162,326 or 7% SATxWADA (Scholastic Aptitude Test x Weighted Average Daily Attendance) with an amount of $0 from Fund 1-General to Fund 4-Capital Projects.

The following bids were accepted: paint from Gallatin Lumber Company; food from Kohl Wholesale; dairy from Anderson-Erickson Dairy; and kitchen chemical from Ecolab.

The 2020-2021 Dyslexia Plan; Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) Plan; and Assessment Plan for the district were approved.

Dr. Copple, Principals Burke, Collins and Thogmartin presented their reports and Mr. Gann presented his activities report.

Discipline reports were presented.

The election results from the county clerk were certified.

The board entered into closed session for discussing personnel.

Next meeting is a morning meeting at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15.
