A Kidder man received minor injuries after his vehicle hit a washout at about 4:50 a.m. on June 4, according to the highway patrol.
Jessie Eaton, 44, Kidder, was southbound on Route J. His 2007 Ford Explorer struck a washout in the roadway and came to rest in the southbound lane of Route J, facing south.
Eaton was taken by Cameron Ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center. He was wearing his seat belt. The vehicle was totaled.
The accident was investigated by Sgt. J.M. Cross, assisted by Cpl. P.M. Kimball.
