Randall Lundy, 41, Kidder, was arrested May 31 for domestic assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
Daviess County Deputy Loreanna Parker responded to the report of domestic assault at a residence on State Highway J. According to the probable cause statement, a female victim had been struck in the face with Lundy’s closed fist and Lundy had verbally threatened to shoot his victim.
According to an 11-year-old female witness at the residence, she heard Lundy load a bullet into his shotgun. She then heard Lundy threaten to shoot the female victim if she came inside the house. A loaded shotgun was observed on the bed, as the witness described.
Lundy has numerous weapons at his house and spent two weeks in an alcohol rehab center in August 2019. Bond was denied.
