Two people from Jamesport were injured in an accident that happened on Hwy. 190 in Livingston County.
According to the highway patrol, the crash occurred as Dylan Tolle, 17, Chillicothe, was westbound on Hwy. 190, driving a 2003 Ford Ranger. He attempted to make a pass on the crest of a hill and traveled into the east bound lane. He struck a vehicle being driven eastbound by James Fish, 74, Jamesport, on the front passenger side.
After impact, Tolle’s vehicle overturned and came to rest on its top off the north side of the roadway, facing west. The 2010 Chevrolet HHR driven by Fish came to rest on its wheels of the south side of the roadway, facing east.
Fish had moderate injuries; he was wearing his seat belt. A passenger in the Ford Ranger, Dallas Hall, 18, Jamesport, had serious injuries. He was not wearing his seat belt. Both were taken by Livingston County EMS to Hedrick Medical Center.
Both vehicles were totaled.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. K.J. Cool, assisted by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.
