Interesting homework…and fun for all!

Braden Lee is a student of Winston R-6 School District. He is in Mrs. Nehlson’s Art 1 class. His assignment was to recreate portraits painted by famous artists using either himself or family members. Brooke, his mother, thought Braden had originally said it had to be of your mother. Brooke says, “That’s fine, it’s actually fun. When we did ‘The Lady of Shalott’ portrait there was a big brown and white mouse in the boat I had to ignore. It was so hot, and the water was so bright that I could hardly open my eyes.”
