Feb 10 Meeting
• The board offered Pamela Cox a part-time principal a contract for 2020-2022 at a salary of $31,650. They also offered Principal Wade Hall a contract at $56,500.
• Under old business, the board adopted a calendar for the 2020-2021 school year.
• The Board approved the CD investment of $150,000 for 8 months at 1.86% APY with Home Exchange Bank.
• The Board reviewed MSBA updates with no action taken, and no action was taken after a discussion on Transportation.
• During the New Business session, the board moved to seek bids for the Financial Audit for 2020-2021 year. The Board approved the purchase of a Laptop from SHI.
• The Board renewed membership in the OSBA Health Insurance consortium. No action was discussed after a discussion on the budget.
• The next regular meeting will be March 10th at 6:00 in the superintendent’s office.
March 10 Meeting
• Reports from the superintendent and principals were given.
• During the old business session, the board accepted a bid from Conrad and Higgins to perform the financial audit for 2020-2021. They also approved the MSBA Update 2019 Part C as presented by the administration.
• The board approved a salary increase of 1% to the certified salary schedule and an increase of 2.5% to the non-certified salary schedule.
• Benefit updates were approved for 2020-2021 as presented by the administration. This included increasing the Defined Health Insurance Contribution from $483.25 to $500.
• Wagler Photography was selected to handle school pictures in 2020-2021.
• No action was taken after a discussion about the audit.
• Following the executive session, the board renewed the tenured teachers as presented by the administration and renewed the list of non-tenured teachers as presented by administration.
The next regular meeting will be April 8th at 6:00 p.m. in the superintendent’s office.
