Now that the 8-part Marvelous Missouri story series has concluded, here are some comments from Daviess County teachers who participated in the project:
From Jackie Reed, Pattonsburg R-2 Third Grade Teacher: Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to read your articles from the paper. My students loved it! They couldn’t wait to see what the next chapter would talk about. We went online and found pictures to match the area or times in order to give them a visual to go with it. This tied in quite well with the Third grade standards on teaching Missouri history. Thank you.
