April Wollam presented and answered questions about the new software to be used for the utilities position at the Feb. 10 meeting of the Winston Village Board of Trustees. The board unanimously approved the cost of the new software.

A new list of delinquent utility customers was presented. Five shut offs were sent and three were paid.
Financial reports detailing deposits and expenses were presented by the village clerk and reviewed along with deposit slips, bills, and bank statements. The board unanimously approved the income and expense report.
Gene Stigall reported that he would like to see about fixing the heater in the motor grader, purchasing extensions for the chains that go on the motor grader tires, and a blade for the motor grader. The board suggested that Gene investigate the cost of these items and bring more information back to the board.
The board unanimously approved a motion to approve the Ameren contract. The contract was signed by Chairman Brenda Goll.
The clerk reported that all taxes are filed and complete for 2019.
The clerk also asked the board to refund Amber Escueta’s $25 for the city hall rental on Jan. 5, 2020, due to the lights not working properly. The board unanimously approved a motion to refund the rental fee.
Phil Minick is going to submit a bid to fix the electricity at the park. Neal Slaughter would like to have a street/alley closed, and this meeting was the First Reading for that proposal.
There was no report for sewer maintenance, ordinance enforcement, or historical society and community events.
Trustees present were Brenda Goll, Wayne Wollam, Neal Slaughter, Tim Caldwell, Lori Norton,
and Daniel Michael. Nichole Gregornick was absent. Others present were Cristan Filley, April Wollam, and Gene Stigall.
The next regular board meeting is scheduled for March 9, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. With no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
