Gallatin FBLA members Maddi Michael, Addi Riley, and Presley Wells, committee chairmen, are leading the partnership between Terry Implement and the Gallatin FBLA Chapter.
Cyd Terry, co-owner of Terry Implement, has played an active role with the Gallatin FBLA chapter for many years. Mrs. Terry has served as an interviewer for chapter officer tryouts and as a chaperone on district, state, and national events. She has also served as an event judge in many events including Management Decision Making and Entrepreneurship.
On Feb. 19, Maddi, Addi, and Presley met with Mrs. Terry to discuss furthering the partnership and what the chapter hoped to gain from this experience. They also planned a time for Mrs. Terry to come talk to the rest of the chapter about the struggles of women in the agricultural industry, especially upper-management positions.
The partnership will also expand chapter members’ knowledge of entrepreneurship and how business franchises work.
Finally, the chairmen will prepare a 15-page report summarizing the activities and knowledge gained to submit for state competition this coming April.
