The Daviess County Genealogical Society will award a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior from an accredited home-school or high school in Daviess County, planning to pursue further education in the fall. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and an interest in history. The completed application, along with the required 500-word essay, and a high school transcript must be submitted to the school guidance counselor no later than April 1, to be forwarded to the Genealogical Society committee for final judging.
