A Cameron passenger received minor injuries in an accident that happened at about 3:15 p.m. on Jan. 29 about a mile north of Osborn in DeKalb County.
According to the highway patrol, the crash occurred as Donna Crossland, 58, Cameron, was southbound on Hwy. 33. Kierra Shelby, 37, Gallatin, was eastbound on Hwy. 36. Crossland was driving a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix and failed to yield to Shelby and struck her 2006 Ford Mustang on the driver’s side. Shelby’s vehicle traveled off the south side of Hwy. 36 and came to rest on its wheels, facing northeast. Crossland’s vehicle came to a controlled stop on the shoulder of Hwy. 36, facing east.
An occupant in the Crossland vehicle, Stefengaret Crossland, 27, Cameron, was transported by private vehicle to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Both vehicles had minor damage.
