Pattonsburg R-2 Superintendent Scott Ireland reported that the Advisory Committee met to discuss the Missouri Assessment Program recognition night. He said the committee liked the idea of sixth grade moving back to the elementary and a seven-period day. He noted the committee asked questions about a four-day school week and the feasibility of having that.

The board approved the 2020-2021 high school and football coop agreement with North Harrison and Gilman City, and the junior high softball coop agreement with Gilman City.

Superintendent Ireland reported that he would be placing an advertisement in the newspaper for bids on the freezer replacement. He spoke to the staff at in-service and encouraged the Community Teachers Association to have teachers attend board meetings. He asked staff to encourage parents to see if they’re interested in a Parent-Teacher-Association/Organization.

Calendar committee met to discuss the calendar for the next year.

Custodial interviews were to be held.

Ireland thanked the City of Pattonsburg for getting the school’s parking lot ready for classes. He also thanked Jake Cameron for getting sidewalks cleared off on Sunday.

Principal McCrary gave the high school and elementary reports.
Executive session was held to discuss personnel, student matters, and legal issues.
