The Altamont Board of Trustees agreed to postpone cleanup of the community building until spring weather during their Jan. 12 meeting.
The financial report and the expense report were approved.
No snow removal bids were received. For the record, it was noted that a local resident is willing to plow on a temporary basis, at the board’s discretion, until a contractor with commercial liability insurance becomes available. An emergency approval for his services was done by phone for the Dec. 15-16 snow event.
Board members and the village clerk completed a new bank resolution and signature cards to update authorized account signers.
The village’s existing Ameren streetlight agreement expires in March. Board members preferred to invite Mike Edwards from Ameren to attend the February regular meeting and discuss the renewal terms, etc.
Next meeting is at 3 p.m. on Feb. 9.
The above are the unapproved minutes of the meeting of the Altamont Board of Trustees held Jan. 12. Board members present were Sue Belsher, Lonnie Norris and Crystal Rogers. Also present were Kay Price, Andrew Lollar, J.R. Curtis and Drake Curtis, Glenda Rogers, village clerk, and Keva Barnes.
