The Gallatin Board of Education agreed to add another year to Dr. Bryan Copple’s contract, which will now extend through June 30, 2023.
Sheryl Warren’s resignation as music teacher was accepted at the end of the current school year. Shonna Morrison’s resignation as counselor at the end of the current year was accepted.
In other business at the Jan. 16 meeting, Harris Cameron was approved as a special education teacher for the school year 2020-2021, following a closed session of the board for discussion of personnel.
The 2020-21 school calendar was presented with Aug. 24 as start date and May 19 as end date.
Dr. Copple, Principal Burke, Principal Collins, Principal Thogmartin presented their reports. Principal Burke presented the report for Activities Director Gann. Carrie Crouse and Shonna Morrison presented their counselor reports.
The next meeting was set for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18.
