Learning beyond the classroom

Eight Winston first year FFA members, better known as Greenhands, attended the Area 2 FFA Greenhand Motivational Conference on the North Central Missouri College campus in Trenton on Jan. 8. Students had the opportunity to learn about being positive role models, getting involved, making sound choices, becoming active team members, and making a positive difference in their lives, school and community. These conferences were presented by the State FFA Officers and sponsored by MFA Incorporated.
After the conference, Winston FFA members toured the NCMC Barton Farm Campus and Farmhouse Collections in Jamesport where they learned how a small town operation can turn into a region-wide success.
