Adam Albert, a city employee, informed the Pattonsburg City Council at their meeting held Dec. 16 that the Pattonsburg Manor Apartments manager had asked him if the city could do the apartments’ snow removal, just the parking lot without moving vehicles. The board agreed to charge $50 per snow event.
JB-LB Insurance representative Brandon Tritten was present with the 2020 insurance quote, which the board approved to pay.
Cheryl Toombs called inquiring about purchasing the lot to the north of their property. The lot measures 60 feet by 150 feet, which is 9,000 square feet. Karen Shepherd, clerk, was to write a letter to Mrs. Toombs stating that the purchase price would be 15 cents per square foot, which equals $1,350.
Employee incentives were approved as follows: Karen Shepherd $250, Adam Albert $150; Amanda Hoover $100: and Liam Mooney $50.
Missouri Rural Water Association will be contacted about working with city staff in order to go over cost of production and water loss calculations.
Fire hydrants will be painted come spring.
The city’s attorney, Robert Cowherd, will be contacted about lease agreements and dangerous property and nuisances.
The next meeting is Jan. 13.
