Gallatin’s Middle School girls defeated East Buchanan, 21-15, on Dec. 14 to capture the championship of the Hamilton Middle School Tournament. The Lady Bulldogs also defeated Hamilton, 29-17, in the opening round on Friday.
Leading the way for Gallatin in Saturday’s championship were Ashley Feiden with 9 points and 5 steals, AnnaBell Ball with 8 points and 3 steals, Alex Endicott with 6 points and 5 rebounds, Abigail Burns with 5 rebounds and 3 steals, and Tylee Morrison with 4 points. Topping the Lady Bulldogs on Friday were Ball with 12 points, 4 rebounds and 5 steals; Feiden with 6 points and 6 steals; and Payton Adkison with 5 points.
Gallatin’s boys fell twice in the tournament, to Polo, 37-29; and to East Buchanan, 38-35.
