Winston’s Homecoming week is Dec 16-20. The Homecoming game is Dec. 20 with coronation and dance to follow. Dress up days are as follows: Monday: PJ day, school appropriate; Tuesday: class color day; Wednesday: Christmas clothes, wear your best Christmas attire; Thursday: twin day, dress the same as a friend; Friday: spirit week, wear red and black.
Homecoming candidates are freshmen Jacob Muessig and Calyssa Johnson; sophomores Asher Vaughn and Emma Heldenbrand; juniors Marshall Farrell and Hannah Hullinger; seniors Bo Eaton and Holly Caldwell; basketball candidates Thomas Kile and Teagan Caldwell. The dance is in the cafeteria right after the boys game until 11 p.m.
School will dismiss at 12:35 on Friday, Dec. 20, for winter break. Classes will resume on Monday, Jan. 6.
The varsity basketball teams will play at NCMC on Dec. 28 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 30 at 5:30 p.m.
