Section 355.120 of the Gallatin City Code covers snow routes and states in part: “All vehicles shall park on the even side of the street on even days of the month and on the odd side of the street on odd days of the month.”
“Odd side of the street” and “even side of the street” shall be determined by the address numbers of residences and businesses. For example, residences numbered 103, 105, etc., would designate the odd side of the street while numbers 102, 104, etc., would designate the even side of the street. The time period for each day shall begin at 6 a.m. and end at 6 a.m. on the following day.
This section shall not apply to the Gallatin city streets bounding the courthouse square and those streets running for one block in any direction therefrom.
Section 355.130 of the City Code covers removal of vehicles from routes and states in part: “A member of the Police Department is hereby authorized to remove or have removed any vehicle that is parked on a snow removal route on which a parking prohibition is in effect. The expenses of impoundment and return of any vehicle removed under the provision of this Section shall be paid by the owner.”
Please observe these regulations to help city crews clear the streets.
