Christmas is coming and the goose is getting fat, but what about that turkey? Don’t forget that November is Food-4-Fines month at the Daviess County Library and Jamesport Branch library. This is a time one can whittle away any of those pesky fines that accumulated over the summer and help those in need at the same time.
One non-perishable food item equals up to $1 toward overdue fines. (Sadly, lost book fines are not included, but we accept good faith payments of $2-5 per visit to work those away.) Food-4-Fines began on Nov. 1 and continues through Nov. 30. Visit www.daviesscountylibrary.org.
