The Tri-County R-7 School Board approved several policies which included the Homeless, ELL, Migrant, Foster Care, and Parent Involvement. During their meeting held Oct. 9, the board also approved the 2019 Part B MSBA update as presented by administration.

The board approved the bills and consent calendar. Superintendent’s and principal’s reports were given.

Under new business, the board moved to cash a maturing CD to maintain necessary cash on hand until the local tax dollars are received in December and January. The money will be reinvested at that time.

No action was taken after a discussion concerning the budget and the APR results.

The board entered into an executive session for personnel and student matters.

The next regular meeting will be at 6 p.m. on Nov. 7.
