After returning from a closed session to discuss personnel at their Sept. 19 meeting, the Gallatin R-5 School Board offered two support staff positions. Wes Bridgeman and Lisa Green were offered custodial positions for the 2019-2020 school year.

Cody Bird, Farmers Bank, discussed the generous donation of a new basketball scoreboard for the high school gymnasium from Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri.
Morgan Glidewell discussed the school wide policy of clear water bottles versus non-clear water bottles.
Dr. Copple, Principals Burke, Collins and Thogmartin and Activities Director Gann presented their reports.
The District-Wide Evaluation Plan for 2019-20 was approved.
The next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 15.
The above are the unapproved minutes for the meeting of the Gallatin School Board held Sept. 19. Board members present were Jesse Bird, Tim Bradford, Pam Critten, Jeffrey Donovan, Amy Heldenbrand, and Martin Sweatman. Trent Dowell entered the meeting at 7:27 p.m. Dr. Copple, Principals Burke, Collins, and Thogmartin, and Activities Director Gann and Board Secretary Corwin were in attendance. Staff members present were Jennifer Youtsey and Susan Allen. Guests present were Cody Bird, Morgan Glidewell, Brenda Glidewell and Robert Glidewell.
