One-vehicle accident

A one-vehicle accident occurred at 6:55 p.m. Sept. 24 on I-35 about three miles north of Cameron, when the driver of a northbound 2020 International MV607 lost control and overcorrected to the right. The truck overturned onto the driver’s side.

The driver, Juan B. Martinez, 48, Grand Prairie, TX, received moderate injuries. A passenger, Omar Flores Castro, 27, Garland, TX, received minor injuries. They were wearing their seat belts. They were transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center. The truck was extensively damaged.
