Supervisor Dana Carder advised she had received the Missouri Uniform Law Enforcement System (MULES) usage report from Jan. 1 to June 30 during the Aug. 29 meeting of Daviess County Central 911. She and Board Chairman Gene Walker will meet with the Daviess County commissioners to present the information.
Walker and Carder had met earlier in the year with the commissioners in regards to their decision not to “subsidize” Daviess County Central revenue in 2019. The 911 board argued that the money received in past years from Daviess County was not a subsidy, but was instead a reimbursement for services rendered. They had agreed at that time to meet with the commissioners again in six months to provide them a report of MULES and services-rendered costs.
A new Central Processing Unit (CPU) and monitor is needed for the new mapping system from Geo-Comm to meet the specifications.
“The mapping we currently use from Geo-Comm has reached its end of life and will not be supported after January,” says Supervisor Carder. “We have to get a new program from them, and a new CPU to support the specifications of that program.”
