The Pattonsburg R-2 School Board expressed concerns with the school lunch menus during their meeting July 16, and asked Superintendent Scott Ireland to oversee and approve the menus for a better variety every week.

The new transportation director, Jake Cameron, is now a certified bus inspector accredited by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The following bids were approved: Anderson Erickson for milk; MFA for fuel; Hy-Vee for bread; and Advanced Disposal for trash.

The Pattonsburg football team has returned from a football camp in South Dakota.

Administration is still in the process of trying to find a social studies teacher.

The gym floor was to be refinished around July 27.

Handbooks and district fees and the nurse agreement with the Daviess County Health Department were all approved.

The board entered into executive session to discuss personnel, student matters, and legal issues.

Present were Stephanie Mason, Brooke Johnson, Steven Pankau, Laura Booth, Lyle Hoover and Greg Coin. Absent was Brian Teel.
