Jared Teel, 22, Pattonsburg, received moderate injuries in an accident that happened at about 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 27.
He was taken by NTA ambulance to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
According to the highway patrol, Teel was riding in the bed of a 2019 Polaris driven by his cousin, Tanner Teel, 19, Pattonsburg
Jared fell out of the Polaris as it traveled down a large rock pile located on private property about one mile east of Pattonsburg.
The vehicle came to a controlled stop at the bottom of the embankment.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. J.P. Lynch, assisted by Daviess County Sheriff’s Department.
