A Pattonsburg man was fatally injured in a motorcycle accident that happened at about 7 a.m. July 12 in Harrison County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Danny Daniel, 65, was traveling north on Highway 69. He attempted to avoid striking a deer and began to skid. His 1998 Moto Guzzi motorcycle struck the deer and traveled off the east side of the roadway. Mr. Daniel was ejected. The motorcycle came to rest off the east side of the roadway.
Mr. Daniel was pronounced deceased at Harrison County Community Hospital by Dr. Richard Kimmel on July 12. The accident was investigated by Tpr. B.L. Israel, assisted by Cpl. B.R. Hilliard and Harrison County Sheriff’s Department.
