In other business at the June 10 meeting of the Jamesport School Board, bids for several projects were approved, including Grand River Concrete for a new sidewalk and pad; Ferman Hostetler for window replacement in the high school; and Bill Stevens Backhoe for a new drain line.

No action was taken after a discussion on bids for custodial services.

The board will seek bids for milk, bread, diesel fuel, and gas for the 2019-2020 school year.

A contribution of $5,000 toward the construction of fence at the ball field was approved.

The board approved a cooperative agreement with the Missouri DSS/MHD.

Updates were reviewed for the Student Handbook as well as the Employee Handbook for 2019-2020.

No action was taken after a discussion of the budget.

Executive session was held for personnel.

The next regular meeting will be 6 p.m. July 8.
