Gallatin native Brice Garnett is celebrating Independence Day after a top 20 finish in the Rocket Mortgage Classic held last week at Detroit Golf Club in Detroit, MI.

Garnett finished Sunday’s competition with a round of 67 that vaulted him into a tie for 17th place in the latest PGA Tour event.  His 4-day total of 274 included rounds of 69-67-71-67 for a 14 under par finish.

Garnett will spend the upcoming holiday in Blaine, MN, participating in the 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities.
