The Annual Springhill School Auction will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, July 3 and 4, west of Jamesport on NN Highway. For the past 35 years the auction has taken place on or close to July 4. Items on the auction block include everything from A to Z — all kinds of machinery, horses, buggies and wagons, lots of unique miscellaneous.
On July 3 they will sell household, stoves, washing machines, antiques and collectibles. There will be free donuts and coffee until 8 a.m.
On July 4, there will be a freewill breakfast from 6 to 8 a.m. Two rings will begin selling machinery parts at 9 a.m., buggies at 8:45 a.m., followed by machinery and horses.
ATVS and golf carts are highly discouraged due to safety and inconvenience. No dogs, sheep, goats or poultry will be sold.
