A Jamesport teenager received minor injuries in an accident that happened at about 5 p.m. on June 30 in Grundy County about five miles west of Trenton.
According to the highway patrol, Johnny Cosper, 17, Jamesport, was eastbound on Route F driving a 1996 Chevrolet Trailblazer. His vehicle traveled off the south side of the roadway. He overcorrected and crossed the center line, causing the Trailblazer to overturn three times. The vehicle came to rest off the north side of the roadway, facing west on its wheels.
Johnny was taken by Grundy County EMS to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton. He was wearing his seat belt. The Chevy Trailblazer was totaled.
The accident was investigated by Trp. C.D. O’Hara, assisted by Tpr. B.N. Raney and the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department.
